Mitch Waite Passed Away on November 10th

After a year of battling cancer Mitch died peacefully at home on November the 10th. He was my best friend, a dedicated and loving father and husband, a great artist and a wonderful human being whose lust for life and passion for art meant so much to so many. I feel blessed to have shared my life with him for the last 15 years and I am proud of all the things we achieved together and most of all of our two boys. I will miss him so very much. I love you my darling. Hanna

  1. Dear Hannah,

  2. I am so very sorry to hear that Mitch has passed away. It was always a dream of mine to attend one of his workshops, I have only met Mitch through the SAA and DVD’s, what a talented artist and lovely personality. My sincere sympathies to Hanna and the boys my thoughts are with you.

  4. Dear Hannah, family and the boys,
What terrible news! We still can’t believe it. Both myself and my mother, Jo Rowley along with our friend Joan Elliot had a fantastic holiday with Mitch only last year at Vence. Mitch was not only a talented painter and great tutor but a wonderful person with a wry sense of humour. He loved painting and taught us so much with his wealth of experience and talent. We are all in such deep shock. I know he will be so missed by all who knew him.We have our memories of that week that we will always treasure. Please accept our sincere heartfelt condolences. God bless!
